- Download vid from YouTube and play it until the end of the video
- Go to Internet Explorer
- Menu: Tools > Internet Options > Settings > View Files
- Find the file. It should be easy because you can tell by the size and date accessed.
- Copy the file to somewhere where you can open it.
- Open it with VLC player.
