I like Windows Vista because of the added security. Everytime a program installs, or you copy stuff to a protected directory, or launch stuff that could modify the system registry, you get a prompt asking for permission.
Another thing is the look and feel of the Aero theme. I like the flow and transparency of the windows. It’s easier and more user-friendly to customize the display, and more options are provided.

Yesterday my computer kept getting the BSOD while I was doing work. Was so frustrated and decided to reformat my computer. Left it on while going out at about 2pm to Beach Road to get my CPL ranks sewn on. Took $3 a set and 30 mins. Had lunch while waiting. After that I went to Funan to buy Windows Vista, then went to Bugis to redeem some vouchers.
Since Sim Lim was nearby, I went to check the prices of Vista there, and turned out to be slightly cheaper -_-” I was dissatisfied with Funan especially the shop I bought Vista at. Next time I’ll just go to Sim Lim to get my shopping done.
I took bus 57 home. Turned out my computer crashed while reformatting/installing windows. After further testing, I removed a RAM chip from my CPU and it turned out ok. Just managed to reinstall Windows XP and upgrade it to Vista late last night.

Today I distributed some items from the combat ration accessory pack. I brought them home since no one wants them, and would have been disposed of.
Wanted to go to beach road to get my CPL rank sewn on, but heard it costs $5 per uniform, so I didn’t go, and will sew them on myself.
Went to the PC Show at Suntec to have a look. Didn’t buy anything although I was tempted to get another desktop (especially now that Windows Vista is out).
