I arranged with Justin to take leave today to meet for a catch-up. The last time we met was about two years ago. Justin suggested that we go ice skating at Kallang and it sounded like fun. We met at Kallang MRT at 11 and made our way there. Ice skating was slightly more difficult than roller blading, but it didn’t take long to get used to it. The place wasn’t even that cold. We chatted while going around the skating rink and talked about stuff. Later we had lunch at the nearby food court. Too bad we didn’t bring any camera with us.

I was away on a short trip to Malaysia the past weekend with some friends. Left on the 25th early morning about 5am and beat the jam at the checkpoint. We took the longer route up to Malacca to save on toll $ (lol!), and I tested my GPS toy which worked surprisingly better than back home.

It was mostly a shopping and a sightseeing trip. Visited the two shopping malls there, went to the night market, and had local food. I didn’t spend much, but I bought some snacks home. Oh ya, the movie tickets there are really cheap. It was about S$4.50 per person! We watched the High School Musical 3 there. It was nice, but wasn’t as good as the first two.

On Monday we shopped at Holiday Plaza and Plaza Pelangi in Johor before returning at about 8pm.

Can you recall the last time you held a grudge against someone? Perhaps it was a friend who betrayed you, a stranger who wronged you, a lover who left, or a parent who unintentionally hurt you. Perhaps this has happened recently and feelings of regret, resentment, and injustice are fresh enough that it still stings. What can we do to overcome these feelings and painful memories?
