1) Exam results were released last wednesday. Working backwords from subtracting accumulated result before exam from final result, I just realized that I got FULL MARKS in one of my exams last semester, which contributed to a HD. PTL!

2) I also received my experts exchange tee shirt. Photo:

3) Have been learning driving. Done 5 lessons already, and only left parking to learn.

4) Tried out an ‘answering machine’ for MSN. Try talking to me lol ^^

5) Went to uni today to change and confirm the units I’m going to be studying this semester. Updates on my studies page at http://www.samliew.com/school.php

Finally exams are over! I am so relieved but still hoping and praying that nothing bad will go wrong.

After my last (and hardest) paper yesterday, my cell group had a pot luck dinner.

I have shifted my website from w3hub.com to flexihostings.com as the previous hosting plan wasn’t sufficient to cope with the exponentially increasing traffic. My site was down for a few hours as the domain name was re-pointed to the new hosting provider.

On the Facebook app Friends for Sale, I have finally accomplished what I have started out for – managed to max Azaac’s value!

There was a thunderstorm last night and this morning, and a temporary power outage in some areas around noon. Now it’s still drizzling. Hope tennis won’t be cancelled later.

Yesterday was my first time doing the visuals for FCC. It was a good experience, plus they had additional equipment that I used for the first time.

I called home and catch up with my parents, and also called Azaac :) It is definately better than just email or chatting over MSN.

Kinda stopped playing Restaurant City on Facebook already, as I have reached the maximum level. Currently I’m just logging in once daily for the free food item and daily quiz, and to complete trade requests. Tried the Friends For Sale application on Facebook, and bought many friends lols.

Bah

Now IE8 is better than Firefox3 in terms of CPU and memory management. I played this game restaurant city on Facebook on both browsers, and Firefox3 took up 2GB of RAM and 75+% of CPU!! I shouldn’t have upgraded the Firefox, but I’m happy IE is doing okay. Now I’m using Google Chrome as my default browser.

I sprained my neck during the night… can’t move around without some effort and pain. Tried a heat pack but didn’t help much.

In this assignment, I have to program a software that uses the Simple-DES (Data Encryption Standard) algorithm to encrypt and decrypt plain text file.

I just completed it. Have spent the past few days cramming to complete it, as I encountered several problems that were very difficult to fix.

More about the assignment, my report and program sources are available on the newly-created school page.
