Finally, just nine more working days! I have been doing clearance, medical FFI, joking around and playing games (lots). Haven’t got my understudy yet though. Maybe the people think my job is easy. Oh well… At least people will look back and remember me when they can’t find somebody to help them anymore.
Today I participated in the AHM 21km run at Marina Bay/East Coast park. Completed it in 2:20h. Saw a few friends there. Now just came home very tired going to sleep.
- I now can complete the Rubik’s Cube in about two and a half minutes.
- My family is returning in about two weeks time
- Church camp is also in two weeks time
- I’m on leave from 7-15th June
- Changed Eee PC battery for a better one (Free Battery Upgrade Program)
The guard duty list just came out on Monday, and I’m doing public holiday duty this Thursday -_-”
I have just finished shifting house 2 weekends ago, but there are still some construction work going on. My aunty just bought a new 36″ LCD TV and new set of sofa for the living room. I have posted pictures of the layout of the house in my facebook, taken while the construction work was still going on.
I’m looking forward to this year’s church camp from 8-12 June as I missed the last two ones due to school. My family will be returning on the 8th early morning before I leave for the camp.
The last few weeks was quite relaxed in camp, nothing much to do except sit in the office and do whatever I want as there were no trainings.
Today after dinner I went to central to pay my phone bill via the S.A.M.. After that while on the way home a guy in the late 30′s approached me and talked very fast in Chinese saying that he lost his wallet and want to borrow money to take taxi home (Bukit Batok). He talked a lot of rubbish and I didn’t understand much. I got the impression that he was trying to con people, so I act blur and told him I didn’t bring money and couldn’t help him.
Preparations for the overseas trip is almost done. Most of the stuff have been ‘sent’ in on Monday, leaving personal items to be brought in a hand-carry bag on the plane. The flight is early in the morning, so as to avoid public contact? I didn’t change much of the destination country currency, compared to my section mates. I will be home on the 2nd October.
On 2nd Aug was my unit’s (ATI) anniversary day. We went to Bukit Batok Civil Service Club for some activities. A few of my section mates and I played 2 games of bowling and I got a score of 142 in the second game. Lunch was catered for. The food was very good, considering the ones we get at camp.
After lunch, my section(-) went to play dota at Jurong Point until about 6pm, then we went for dinner and booked in early.
